Mr. Rao retired and received a large retirement amount. He deposited ₹20 lakhs in a joint account with his wife and even shared the ATM card PIN with her.
One day, he stepped out for an hour on some work and suddenly realized that he had forgotten his phone at home. He rushed back and was relieved to find it lying on the sofa.
As he sat down, he asked his wife, "Did any call come?"
She replied, "Yes, the bank called, asking to update the joint account details."
Mr. Rao started sweating and collapsed onto the sofa in panic. "Did you give them the OTP?" he asked anxiously.
His wife calmly said, "Yes, the bank manager himself called me, so I gave it to him."
Mr. Rao almost fainted. He quickly checked his bank balance on his phone. The ₹20 lakhs were still there.
With a sigh of relief, he asked, "What OTP did you give?"
His wife innocently replied, "The OTP I got was 4042. Since it's a joint account, I gave my half of the OTP—2021."
Mr. Rao felt like he had just come back to life.
No wonder a wife is called 'better half'.😂😉😃😛
