Goal-oriented Insurance policy focussed on children wedding by Tata AIA

Tata AIA Life Insurance has launched ‘Shubh Muhurat,’ a life insurance
product that can help families save for children's weddings. The hybrid product
offers capital guarantee through debt exposure and wealth creation through
equity exposure to meet wedding-related expenses.
Designed for parents with children aged 1 to 20,
the plan offers features such as planned payouts, protection under the Married
Women’s Property Act (MWPA) and a protection rider.
This includes immediate financial assistance in
case of the policyholder’s demise, waived premiums and a maturity benefit to
nominees.
Mr. Venky Iyer, MD & CEO, Tata AIA Life, said,
“Shubh Muhurat is intended to help families plan well in advance, ensuring that
one of the most important milestones in their lives is celebrated without
financial concerns. According to a report, India hosted over 80 lakh weddings
in 2024, with an estimated expenditure of Rs.10.7 lakh crore. That is per
marriage average expense is Rs.13,37,500”
