Indian Mutual Fund Industry's Net AUM stands at ₹66,93,032 crores for the month of December 2024. AUM for the month of November ₹ 68,08,101 crores
A total of 34 schemes were launched in the month of December 2024, raising a total of ₹ 13,852 crores.
Speaking on the December 2024 monthly data release, Mr. Venkat Chalasani, Chief Executive, AMFI said, –
"Despite volatile market conditions, equity-oriented schemes continued to see strong inflows, reflecting investors' confidence and commitment to stay invested for the long term.
This behaviour highlights the growing maturity of investors. The SIP contribution reached an all-time high of ₹26,459.49 crores in December 2024 reflecting investors' steadfast commitment to their financial goals.
The record-breaking 22.50 crore mutual fund folios in December underscores investors' confidence in the industry's ability to deliver long-term value despite short-term fluctuations."
