Max Life Insurance is now Axis Max Life Insurance..!
Max Life Insurance Company has officially changed its name to Axis Max Life Insurance. The Registrar of Companies issued the new certificate of incorporation on December 12, 2024.
In a corporate announcement, the company said, "We believe that the integration of two trusted names (Max Life & Axis) in the financial services sector will empower Axis Max Life to achieve its long-term growth aspirations through strategic expansion beyond metros and tier I cities. This move also carries forward the legacy of trust and expertise of the Max identity while adding the confidence and familiarity of Axis, thereby benefiting the stakeholders of the company in value creation."
Axis Bank had first announced its intention to acquire a stake in Max Life in February 2020. The transaction got insurance regulator's approval a year later in February 2021. Since then the bank has increased its stake in Max Life regularly.
