Modification of Budget Proposal with regard to Indexation
Following various representations made by Taxpayers, the Govt has decided to allow the tax-payer the option to calculate the Long Term Capital Gains at the rate of 12.5% without indexation or 20% with indexation, for properties purchased prior to 23rd July, 2024.
