Highlights AMFI Mutual Fund Industry Monthly Data for December2023:
Ø Mutual Fund Industry's Net AUM has reached a momentous milestone of Rs. 50,77,900.36 for the month of December 2023 while for the month of November was Rs.49,04,992.39
Ø While for the AAUM for December 2023 is Rs. 51,09,071.77 and for November 2023 was
Rs. 48,74,812.59 crores
Ø Mutual Fund Folios reached an all-time high of 16,48,90,272 in the month of December 2023 compared to 16,18,14,583 for the month of November 2023
Ø Retail MF Folios (Equity + Hybrid + Solution Oriented Schemes) also at an all-time high at 13,18,55,261 for the month of December 2023 compared to 12,92,21,994 in November 2023
Ø 34 months of positive equity inflows, starting from March 2021
Ø Retail AUM (Equity + Hybrid + Solution Oriented Schemes) stood at Rs. 28,87,504 crores for December 2023 with an Average AUM of 28,36,139 crores
Ø A total of 21 schemes were launched in the month of December 2023, in the category of both open ended and close ended scheme, raising a total of Rs.9,872 crores.
Ø SIP contribution stood at an all-time high ofRs. 17,610.16 crores in December 2023
Ø The number of SIP accounts stood at highest ever 7,63,65,924 in December 2023 compared to 7,44,13,903 in November 2023
Ø The SIP AUM stood at Rs.9,95,925.39 crores for December 2023 compared to Rs.9,31,333.09 crores for November 2023.
Ø Number of new SIPs registered in December 2023 were 40,32,643. Number of SIP matured/discontinued/paused were 20,80,622.
