Mutual Fund SIP accounts stood at highest ever 7,44,13,903 in November 2023


Highlights AMFI Mutual Fund Industry Monthly Data for November 2023:


Ø Mutual Fund Industry Net AUM is ₹49,04,992.39, while AAUM is ₹ 48,74,812.59 for the month of November 2023 

while for the month of October the Net AUM is ₹  46,71,687.90, while AAUM is ₹ 47,80,422.43 crores

Ø Mutual Fund Folios reached an all-time high of16,18,14,583in the monthof November  2023compared to 15,96,46,790 

for the month of October 2023.

Ø Retail MF Folios (Equity + Hybrid + Solution Oriented Schemes) also at an all-time high at      12,92,21,994

for the month of November 2023 compared to 12,74,88,003in October 2023

Ø Retail AUM (Equity + Hybrid + Solution Oriented Schemes) stood at₹ 27,01,321 crores for November 2023, 

with an Average AUM of ₹26,36,163crores

Ø A total of 14schemes were launched in the month of November 2023, in the category of both open ended and 

close ended scheme, raising a total of ₹2,583 crores.

Ø SIP contribution stood atan all-time high of₹17,073.30crores in November 2023

Ø The number of SIP accounts stood at highest ever 7,44,13,903 in November 2023 

compared to7,30,02,604 in October2023

Ø The SIP AUM stood at ₹9,31,333.09crores for November compared to ₹8,59,923.86 croresfor October 2023

Ø Number of new SIPs registered in November2023 were 30,80,185

Mr. NS Venkatesh, CEO, AMFI, comments on the strong performance of the mutual fund industry in India.


"As we approach the end of another remarkable year, it's time to celebrate the positive growth and success of the Mutual Fund Industry. 

The AUM has been increasing steadily, reflecting the growing trust and confidence of investors. 

The overall AUM stands at 49,04,992.39 crores in November 2023. We believe this trend will continue through December as well and the numbers will continue to remain positive.

The SIP contribution stood at 17,073.30 crores with a total of 7,44,13,903 SIP accounts, highest till date. We reiterate that investors should stay focused on goal-based investing through SIPs."
