Union Mutual Fund has launched Union Children's Fund, an open-ended fund solution-oriented fund focusing on children.
The fund will have a 5 year lock in period or till the child attains 18 years of age, whichever is earlier.
Benchmarked against S&P BSE 500 Index (TRI), the scheme aims to generate long-term capital appreciation by investing in a mix of securities comprising equity, equity-related securities and debt instruments.

The scheme aims to achieve long-term capital appreciation by investing in a diversified portfolio of securities, including equity, equity-related instruments, and debt instruments, in accordance with its specified asset allocation.

How may one invest in this scheme?
Investors can invest under the scheme with a minimum investment of Rs.1,000 per plan / option and in multiples of Re 1. There is no upper limit for investment.
