Do you know that as per RBI , *Storage of any cash is prohibited in Bank lockers?*
A woman lost 18 lakhs kept in a locker with Bank of Baroda , Ashiana Branch.
*Her money was infested by termites*, yes you read it right
Know this clearly:-
1) *Banks are liable to pay 100TIMES* of Annual Rent which you pay every year only *in case of fire, building collapse, or fraud*
2) *No compensation for CASH* kept in locker
3) Lockers are meant to keep jewellery, documents only
4) Operate your locker once in a quarter-
5) Nominate it ( Locker nomination is different from bank account, note this)
