[3/27, 11:19 AM] Venkatraman 6 Sigma Wealth advisors: 8/n  If both demat and trading accounts are with a broker, a single form will usually suffice for nomination for both accounts. But, PLEASE CHECK THIS OUT WITH YOUR BROKERAGE.
[3/27, 11:19 AM] Venkatraman 6 Sigma Wealth advisors: n/n  Please have this completed this week to ensure continued operation of both demat and trading accounts.

Venkatraman 6 Sigma Wealth advisors:

The reason why nomination is being pushed hard by regulators is that assets worth crores belonging to deceased persons are stuck with institutions and banks; in the absence of nomination, they do not know to whom they should hand over these. They have to wait for completion of a complicated legal process like probating in the case of will or Succession certificate from Court.
