 Matrimony reports strong Net Profit growth of 38% in FY21

Hyderabad, May  2021: Matrimony.com Limited, the leading online matrimony company, announced its audited standalone and consolidated financial results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2021, as approved by its board of directors.

Key financial highlights for the quarter ended March 31, 2021

Consolidated

·           Billing at Rs 106.7 crores (growth of 6.6% q/q and 10.8% y/y)

·           Revenue at Rs 101.1 crores (growth of 4.6 % q/q and 7.5% y/y)

·           Profit After Tax (PAT) at Rs 10.1 crores (decline of 8.1% q/q and growth of 49.4% y/y)

Matchmaking

·           Billing at Rs 106.1 crores (growth of 6.3% q/q and 12% y/y)

·           Revenue at Rs 100.6 crores (growth of 4.6% q/q and 8.3% y/y)

·           Added 2.3 lakhs paid subscriptions during the quarter (growth of 23.9% y/y)

Key financial highlights for the year ended March 31, 2021

Consolidated

·           Billing at Rs 385 crores (growth of 4.4%)

·           Revenue at Rs 377.8 crores (growth of 1.6%)

·           Profit After Tax (PAT) at Rs 40.8 crores (growth of 38%)

Matchmaking

·           Billing at Rs 383.2 crores (growth of 7.4%)

·           Revenue at Rs 375.7 crores (growth of 4.2%)

·           Added 8.4 lakhs paid subscriptions during the year (growth of 18.9%)

Announcement

The Board of Directors, at its meeting held on May 11, 2021 have recommended a final dividend of 70% (Rs 3.5 per equity share of par value of Rs 5 each), subject to the approval of the Shareholders

·           Launched IIMIITMatrimony.com, a niche matrimony service for graduates from premier institutes
