Reserve Bank of India Survey : 67% Urban
Households Say Property Prices Will Go Up..!
As against 68.9% of participants, who
said they expected housing prices to increase in September last year (2018),
about 67.1%expected prices to move up this (2019) year, shows a survey
by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) recently
released its survey on the Inflation
Expectations Survey of Households that studied people’s opinion on inflation between
September 2018 and September 2019.
Let us look at the key findings of the
survey, which covered 18 cities of the country.
About 67.1% of participants expected housing prices to
increase. Last year too, the same percentage of people expected that.
Of
these, about 45% say that prices of housing will increase at more than
the current rate while close to 18% say prices will increase at the
current rate.
An optimistic 23% of participants think that there will
be no change in housing prices and another 9% says that they
expected prices to go down.
