Consumers Association of India Chennai in coordination with Consumer Voice, New Delhi is involved in creating awareness about the dangers of using Tobacco Products, to protect the health of the younger generation and children.
They have organised a work shop on "Release of the Big Tobacco; Tiny Targets" Study in TamilNadu
Mrs M .P Nirmala IAS Rtd, Chairperson TamilNadu Commission for Protection of Child Rights, Government of TamilNadu will be inaugurating the session. Dr.A.Somasundaram, MBBS, MD, DPH, Joint Director TCB, Chennai will give special address.
Experts from Health Department, Tobacco Control Board, Education Department etc will be speaking on Saving Young generation from exposure to Tobacco Products and their use.A Study report on the Big Tobacco: Tiny Targets in Tamil Nadu will be presented.
