Term insurance is much more economical than the
Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana PMJJBY
The life insurance is like a term insurance and is
much more economical than the Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY).
In the case of PMJJBY, the premium payable for a
sum assured (SA) of Rs.2 Lakhs is Rs.330 which translates to Rs.165 per SA of Rs.1 Lakh.
As against this the SA of Rs.1 Lakh for CDSL demat
accounts under this scheme for age group 18 to 60 years is Rs.130- + GST
i.e.Rs.130 + Rs.23.40 = Rs.153.40.
As you may be aware CDSL signed an MOU with LIC to give effect to this
scheme.
