First Close of UTI Structured Debt Opportunities Fund by UTI Capital P Ltd
UTI
Capital Private Limited (“UTI Capital”), a 100% subsidiary of UTI Asset
Management Company(“UTI AMC”),announced the first close of UTI Structured Debt Opportunities Fund I
(“UTI SDOF 1”) on November 15, 2017. UTI SDOF 1 is a Category II
Alternative Investment Fund (“AIF”) with a target corpus of Rs. 7,500
million (and an additional greenshoe option of
Rs. 2,500 million). The capital commitments in the fund currently stand at more than Rs. 4800 million.
On the occasion, Mr Leo Puri, Managing Director, UTI AMC and Chairman of UTI Capital
said, “We are pleased with the speed with which we were able to achieve
a sizeable close for the first Alternative Investment Fund sponsored by
UTI AMC. I appreciate the confidence that large sophisticated investors

and create a portfolio of such borrowers through active origination,
