HIGH PROFILE BUSINESS DELEGATION FROM TEXTILE & FASHION INDUSTRY VISITING UAE
A
100 Member Indian business delegation comprising of 51 leading
manufacturer exporters of Textiles and high fashion garment industry
will be in Dubai, UAE from 1-3 November 2017 to participate in the International Apparel and Textile Fair to be held at Dubai World Trade Centre.
The
Business Delegation will be led by Dr. A. Sakthivel, Chairman, FIEO
Southern Region. The Business Delegation will be displaying high
fashion readymade and fashion garments, technical textiles, kids wear
etc. in the Indian Pavilion constructed under International Apparel
& Textile Fair to be held at Dubai World Trade Centre from 1-3 November 2017.
UAE ranks the 3rd largest country in the world in terms of textile exports and is the 4th
largest trading centre of fashion and apparel. Dubai is growing very
fast as the global trading hub for Textile & Fashion industry.
Presently, India’s textile and garment export focused on Europe and U.S.
market which in turn supply to GCC market also. By this participation
FIEO envisages to reach major GCC markets directly.
Mr.
Navdeep Suri, Ambassador of India, Abu Dhabi in the presence of Mr.
Vipul, Consul General of India, Dubai will be inaugurating the Indian
Pavilion on 1st November 2017 at 11.00 a.m.
