Hunger is Up Again About
81.50 crore people were hungry
Hunger is on the rise
again.
According to latest (2017 September) UN figures, some 81.50 crore (815
million) people were hungry last year (2016) -an increase of 3.8 Crore (38
million) from the previous year (2015)-affecting around 11% of the world population.
In the year 2000, this count
was about 90 Crore (900 million)
