INVESTORS TO ATTEND THE PITCHFEST TO INVEST IN STARTUPS
session on “Perfect Your Pitch” will be organized by TiE Chennai before the
PitchFest prelims~
TiECON Chennai opens registration for PITCHFEST 2017. The Chennai chapter of TiE is partnering with several angel
networks and investor to host PitchFest – a one-day programme for entrepreneurs
to present their business ideas to angel investors, private equity firms, and
high net worth individuals to get funding and mentoring support.
PitchFest is
organised as part of TiECON Chennai 2017, a conference for entrepreneurs in the
city. The PitchFest prelims will happen
on September 9, 2017. Entrepreneurs interested in the PitchFest can
submit their online application on or before September 5, 2017. The application form is available on http://tiecon.tiechennai.org. The
preliminary screening session is on 9th September where particiapants have to
pitch to senior Mentors of TiE Chennai. The selected entrepreneurs will pitch
at TiECON Chennai 2017.
This year,
TiECON Chennai have also scheduled a complementary session
“Perfect your
Pitch” before the PitchFest for the registered members. The
session will
lead by charter member Mr Dorai Thodla.
Commenting on
the announcement, Mr Chandu Nair,
Chairman, TiECON Chennai 2017 said, “This year TiECON Chennai 2017 have
a mix of speaker sessions, debates, panel discussions, workshops, pitchfest,
TiE Bazaar, and the gala Awards ceremony. The most happening thing was the
PitchFest. This is the great opportunity for budding entrepreneurs to pitch to
leading Angel & VC Investors, under one roof. Last year startups like
Detect Technologies, TMT Media, Energyly, Purple Ironing Services, SP Robotic
Works, Notifie, PiQube, Kobster have raised their funding through Pitchfest. We
are looking forward more funding for this year too”
