National Securities Depository
Limited (NSDL) has made it mandatory to link Aadhaar with demat account.
As per
circular(NSDL/POLICY/2017/0021) published by NSDL
SEBI has instructed depositories to
advise their Participants to take necessary steps for linking of demat accounts
held by individual clients with their Aadhaar numbers to ensure effective
implementation of the budget 2017-18 announcement.
