Office To Make It More Decorative..!
An article from Our Building & Construction / April 2017

The lighting in a home or your office often changes the mood of a room and thus people residing in it. Placement and type are significant aspects of interior design, and they work in conjunction with color selections, room size, availability of natural light and furniture selection.

According to the Principal Architect and Interior Designer Mr. Ateet Vengurlekar, (https://www.linkedin.com/in/ateet-vengurlekar-79b696119/)the elements that come together when the right lighting is achieved and simply transform a room into a picture perfect combination of functionality and style.

Lighting is a flexible and affordable way of controlling the light and colour scheme of your home. Consequently, it also controls the style. As it is such a big deal, you need to make sure you pick the right light fixtures. But, how do you know what fixtures are better than others or what fixtures best suits your home?

Interior Designer Mr. Ateet Vengurlekar tells us all about it! Interior home light fixtures are best known for their reliability, superior quality and performance. If you really want to make your home stand out from others then proper home light fixtures along with perfect furniture can do the trick.

You need to arrange lighting fixtures in such a way that they not only illuminate accent pieces and
furniture in your home but also enhance their beauty. It is considered as one of the most primary things in interior designing.

Home and Office light fixtures come in different style and patterns, but choosing the right one can be time consuming.

These light fixtures are of different types but the most commonly used and popular ones are modern, Victorian, rusty, studio, etc.

Entry in your house / office..!

**  For the entry in your house / office, the lighting is very much, because it can make look very inviting. So make sure you set an appropriate mood at the front door.

large lamp or chandelier can be a nice choice. If you have artwork displayed on the walls, accent lights can help you highlight their beauty.

Right balance in the living room..!

**  It’s important to set the right balance in the living room of your house. This is a space which is usually flexible and it used for entertainment but also as a place to relax.

So consider using permanent fixtures such as chandeliers or pendant lamps but also take into consideration floor lamps and sconces. A dimmer switch is, of course, a must have.

Dining room is one of the easiest rooms ..!

**  The dining room is one of the easiest rooms to light simply because the dining table is always the focal point of the room. Usually, chandeliers are chosen for this area but pendant lights are also very popular.

However, you can also add a task lamp or accent lights if you wish to put the spotlight on a certain accent feature in the room.

kitchen needs more complex lighting..!

** The kitchen needs more complex lighting because there is no single focal
point in this room. So you need overhead lights for basic tasks but you also need extra lighting in areas like over the kitchen island, over the sink or / the bar. You can have pendant light in all these areas.

Spotlights are also a good option. You can also use LED lights under the cabinets in your kitchen to
make it well lit.

The bedroom, the best choice would be warm light..!

** In the case of the bedroom, the best choice would be warm light because it’s more restful and relaxing.

Usually, task lighting fixture is used on the bedside tables but you can also have sconces there. Also, consider using accent lights to highlight a photo or a
work of art.

Don’t forget about the dimmer switch, it will allow you to create the perfect ambiance in the room.

Batheroom..!

** For batheroom, what’s important to know is that sconces above a vanity mirror or beside it assure appropriate light for certain tasks but you have to place them at the right height (near face height) for the most flattering illumination.

Well-placed accent lighting make the bathroom more welcoming so consider also having a chandelier, a pendant light and don’t forget
the dimmer switch.

Home office should focus on task lighting..!

** Lastly of course, a home office should focus on task lighting. It should feature lamps on the desk which are essential to reduce eyestrain but an overhead light can also be useful on cloudy days on when you’re working
at night and the lamp is too powerful for the eyes.

You should have a dimmer switch for the pendant light. Accent lighting
is decorative and can help make the office seem more inviting.

Make sure that you buy the one that perfectly blends with your home decor and adds to the ambience without being odd. If you are having problems in making the right choices when it comes to light fixtures, then you can seek
