SUBURBAN RAIL

•Connects the north & south of the city .
•.All inter state trains arrive & depart from Chennai Central.
•Trains to all destinations within the city can be boarded from Chennai Beach Station.
• The MRST train frequency
•Peak Hours: 10 minutes
•Non peak Hours: 20 – 30 minutes

AIRPORT
• The Chennai Domestic & International airports are located on the Great Southern Trunk road ( GST).
• The airport handles 15.3 million passengers and about 1,13,500 aircraft movements annually.
• 9.5 million in the domestic and 5.5 million annually in the international terminals

METRO
• Designed to Integrate different modes of Transport - MRTS, Suburban Rail, Airport and Chennai Mofussil Bus Terminus (CMBT).
• Phase I of the project consists of two corridors – Corridor I : Washermanpet to Airport via LIC, Thousand Lights, Teynampet, Corridor II : Central to St. Thomas Mount via Kilpauk, CMBT, Guindy
