World Real Estate Brokers’ Day, June 9
QuikrHomes, the real estate vertical of Quikr, in
association with Realty Redefined dealing with technology solutions, is
commemorating World Brokers’ Day on June 9.
The event will bring leading brokers from all
over India, from multinationals to small businesses, and engage them in a
debate on how the new regulatory and technology environment of real estate will
change the shape of brokerage in the future.
World Brokers’ Day is a unique initiative that
honours real estate brokers, recognising them as essential stakeholders in the
industry.
Commenting on this initiative, Mr. Manish
Sinha, Head of QuikrHomes, said, “QuikrHomes was launched as an
all-inclusive real estate platform for builders, brokers and home seekers. We
see first-hand how brokers drive a significant part of the transactions on our
platform. Brokers have always been instrumental in connecting builders and
sellers to potential home owners and we hope to create more opportunities for
everyone to work together through our investment in World Brokers’ Day.”
Mr. Mayank Vora, Co-Founder, Realty Redefined, added that, “World Brokers’ Day is to bring this community together to
leverage technology for higher professionalism. We will continue to bring real
estate brokers together to share best practices and introduce the latest in
technology.”
Realty Redefined had commemorated the special day
last year by bringing together several broker associations and real estate
industry professionals.
There are nearly 6 to 8 lakh real estate brokers
in India and this number is growing 20%
to 30% year on year as a result of the growth across metropolitan and
tier II-III markets.
“Last year we had an overwhelming response with
over 750 small, mid- to large consultancies participating in the event. We
expect a bigger response this year,” said Mr. Vora
Quikr acquired Indian Realty Exchange (IRX), a
mobile-first aggregator of the real estate broker community.
IRX features agent reviews and rankings whilst
serving as a platform for agents to exchange inventory and requirements with
users and other agents.
