Consumers Association of India (CAI) is a decade old Voluntary Consumer
Organization headquartered in Chennai with members from all over India. We
provide voluntary service and support to the consumers on various
issues that affect their Rights.
As part
of student consumer club activity 2,368 students were given awareness on 3
important topics,
1.
Consumer Responsibilities and Rights as envisaged
in CP Act,
2.
Food and water safety for safe health and
3.
Personal hygiene and environmental protection.
“World
Consumer Rights Day” falls on 15th March. To commemorate world
consumer rights day, CAI is organising “STUDENT
CONSUMER CLUB VALEDICTORY FUNCTION” at
Venue:
“Government Museum Theatre”, Pantheon Road, Egmore, Chennai - 8
Date: 08.03.2016
Time: 09. 30 am to 01.00 pm.
A series
of 4 competitions – Elocution, drawing, project on misleading labels and
project on Misleading advertisements” were announced for all consumer club
members. First prize winners from all schools will compete for the final
competition on 8th March, 2016.
