The DVD
release will be followed by classical dance-drama “Vidura Neethi”, by V.
Balagurunathan and Gayatri.

About
the performers:
Sri.
V.Balagurunathan and Smt. Gayatri Balagurunathan are the lineage of the great
legend Smt. Krishnaveni Lakshmanan, their Guru and mentor. Gayatri and Bala
have gained recognition as one of the best dancing duos in Chennai and have won
accolades for their creativity in performing, choreography and teaching.
Together they have traveled far and wide for many performances, workshops and
lecture demonstrations. They have produced many Nrithya Natakams: Ayigin
Nandhini, Ainkaran , Anjaneya Veera, Madhava Keshava, to name a few. They are
the recipient of many prestigious awards — ABHYASA NRITHYA VARDHINI, NRITHYA
CHINTAMANI, NARTANA CHOODAMANI, KALAIKKOMAMANI and Obul Reddy Award for Senior
dancers from Narada Gana Sabha.
