Ms. Asia Mariam, IAS, said,
“The School Students have demonstrated amazing zeal, confidence and oratory
skills in this competition. Even today, there is a misconception that
corporation school students lack the ability that builds self confidence and
stunts the growth. But, this “Wings to fly” program organised by the The
Rotary Club of Madras East clearly proved that these students can stand
their grounds against any competition provided they are given the
opportunity. Congratulations to the winning students and the Rotary.”
Former DGP Mr. R. Nataraj said, “What these
children lacked in comfort and lifestyle, they made up by their dedication,
devotion and determination. All these children are living examples like our
late President Dr. Kalam and are aiming to reach the sky.
District Governor Rtn. CR Raju, RI Dist 3230
and Rtn. Jayanthi Govindan, President, RCM East who organised
the entire competition along with Rtn. Magesh
Pattabhiraman, Chairman, Wings to Fly and Rtn. Babu Krishnamoorthy,
Secretary, RCM East were also present.
