NEW OFFICE BEARERS FOR CII CHENNAI ZONAL COUNCIL 2016-17

Chennai, 26 February 2016. Mr. M Ponnuswami,
Chairman and Managing Director, Pon Pure Chemical India Pvt Ltd, Chennai has been nominated as the
Chairman of Chennai Zonal Council for the year 2016-17. This was announced at the Chennai Zone Annual Day held in Chennai on Thursday.

Ponnuswami has been closely associated with the CII and was the Vice
Chairman of CII Chennai Zonal Council during 2015-16 and also
the Convenor of Membership Panel during 2015-16.

Pon Pure Chemicals is a leading manufacturer of chemicals and allied products with International
presence in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Australia, Africa & Middle East countries.
Mr. Ponnuswami is a Chemistry Graduate from PSG College, Coimbatore.
Mr. B Visweswaran,
Director, Wysine Technologies Pvt Ltd & Director, The Sanmar Group, Chennai has been
nominated as Vice Chairman of CII Chennai Zonal Council for the year 2016-17.
Mr. Visweswaran is an active member of CII. He is an elected
member of CII Tamil Nadu State Council and has been the Convenor of CII-TN Manufacturing Panel for the last two years.

He hold a Post Graduate Degree in Electrical Communication Engineering from Indian Institute of Science and MS (Computer
Engineering) from North Carolina State University.
