- American Consulate to conduct Visa Seminar
for students in the region
- Merit based scholarships to be
offered for undergraduate and graduate programs
An Education Expo featuring 12 top American Universities will be held
this month in the City with the aim of reaching out to aspiring students who
wish to pursue their education in the US. This expo will offer students the
benefit of getting first hand information for undergraduate and Post graduate programs
from representatives of 12 top universities from the US.
This program is free
and open to the public and will be held on the February 10 from 5.30 pm to 9 pm at Taj Krishna Hyderabad. The US
Consul in Hyderabad will begin this program with a seminar to highlight the American
Visa process for aspiring students.
The key highlight of this event is the merit based
scholarships which are offered to both undergraduate and graduate students across
all 12 universities. Merit based Scholarship on offer can range from $10,000
dollars to full tuition fee for duration of the program. This event is
supported by US Department of commerce at the US consulate in Hyderabad.
This expo is a free chance for potential future students and
parents to meet face to face with representatives from the top 12 U.S
universities. These top universities offer majors such as Engineering,
Business, Pharmacy and Arts. If students
have then they should bring multiple copies of their report cards, transcripts,
TOEFL scores, etc. to this event, if you haven’t taken any of the test yet, you
are welcome to come and consult with the admission officers. There are over
600,000 foreign students studying in the US this is because America still is
the number one destination for foreign students to pursue their higher
education.
This Scholarship Event
includes representatives from: Illinois State University, Oregon State
University, Penn State University, University of Wisconsin, California State
University- East Bay, Fisher College, Boston Architectural College,
Transylvania University, San Diego State University, Stephen F. Austin State
University Eastern Kentucky University, California State University - San
Marcos and many more.
Representatives from these universities will be
present at the American Education Expo where they will be giving out
applications for scholarships based on merit and application. Be rewarded for your achievements and hard
