Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre hosts
'Fruit MixingCeremony' to mark the onset of Christmas
To usher in
the festive season, an elaborate cake mixing ceremony was organised at The
Square, Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre. The environment was charged with
pre-Christmas cheers and festive songs playing in the background. The
event saw corporate guests, hotel associates, expats alongside NHCC senior
management team and the in-house guests actively participating in the cake
mixing ceremony.
Mr. Neil
Paterson, General Manager, Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre & HICC along
with Executive Chef- Muthu Kumar and the hotel staff led everyone to the mixing
table, as is tradition at the hotel, to welcome the festival season with a
fruit soaking ceremony ahead of Christmas. A large vessel was set with candied
ginger strips lining the bottom along with huge trays filled with fruits.
All
guests participated with enthusiasm as they rolled up their sleeves, slipped on
gloves and chef hats, and joined the chef in mixing fruits & nuts. This was
followed by pouring in generous quantities of wine, rum and whiskey, fresh
juices, honey and lime. The mixture was tossed and patted till all the fruits
and nuts were evenly coated.
The place
wore a vibrant ambiance, buzzing with laughter and excitement. Setting a jovial
mood of a perfect afternoon, the guests enjoyed the generously flowing
exquisite wines and indulged in interesting delicacies lined up by Executive
Chef and his team.
