FLOKING REVOLUTIONISES WATER PIPES SEGMENT IN INDIA

Floking Pipes Pvt. Ltd. today announced the
launch of PVC-O (Oriented PVC) pipes. The PVC-O pipes are
manufactured at Floking’s state of the art manufacturing facility at SIPCOT in
Sriperumbudur near Chennai. Presently the plant has an installed capacity of
3500 Metric Tons with plan to double the capacity to 7000 Metric Tons by the
end of this year. Investment in the first phase of operations by Floking is Rs.
90 crores and the company is planning to increase the investment in the upcoming
phases.
PVC-O pipes are a perfect replacement
for metal pipes with the same strength, higher durability, longer life and
various other properties at lesser overall cost. PVC-O are strong pipes that
can be used for high pressure transport of any kind of fluid and are built to
last for over 50 years and offer a variety of savings and advantages which can
improve efficiency of any project.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Ankur
Khandelwal, Director, Floking Pipes Pvt. Ltd. said, “At Floking, we

substances, such as heavy metals in its formulation, which makes PVC-O pipes

levels of cost savings offered by us to everyone across the chain is unheard of
