SIHRA Convention 2015
The South India Hotels & Restaurants
Association (SIHRA) will be
organizing SIHRA Convention 2015 from July 2nd -
4th2015 in Hyderabad. The event will provide an interesting platform
for hoteliers & Restaurateurs from whole of South India
including Tamilnadu, Karnataka ,Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala to meet
and discuss the trends and opportunities in the hospitality sector. The
convention will see participation from more than 600 delegates drawn from the
southern states in the country.
The SIHRA Convention will be focusing on the theme “Redefining
Hospitality & Monetizing Tourism”, and will focus on
changing technology Human resource management along with other emerging
concepts in F&B and restaurants. The business sessions over the
three days will be delivered by eminent speakers from the industry will be both
educative and motivating.
The topic for the discussions will include – Online Business-
Impact of technology in the hospitality industry & role of Travel &
trade, F&B, New concept based restaurants, restraint chain, HR practices in
Hospitality, Cost cutting, Sustainability of labour, Branding
budget hotels, Franchise, Projects (New Methodology & Sourcing), Role of
young entrepreneurs, Role of Government in formulating policies for hospitality
etc

A special session with members of the department of tourism both
at the regional and national level is also being considered to ensure a direct
interface for the participants with the Government. There will be a trade show
on the sidelines of the convention where leading suppliers and organizations
related to the Hospitality Industry are expected to showcase their products and
services.
Announcing the convention Mr. K. Syama Raju, President -
Southern India Hotels & Restaurants Association (SIHRA) said,
“South India is one of fastest growing market in the country with a
strong potential and growth for the hospitality sector. SIHRA 2015
will provide a forum to create synergies and educative opportunities for the
key players in the sector. At SIHRA it’s our endeavour to identify strategic
and business opportunities for hospitality sector. The convention which is
slated July 2-4th 2015 will provide fantastic trade and economic advantages
for the South Indian hoteliers to network and explore new avenues for trade
& commerce”
Mr. D.V.S. Somaraju, Chairman of the
Convention Organizing Committee - Southern India Hotels & Restaurants
Association (SIHRA) said, “ Southern
India Hotels & Restaurants Association (SIHRA) will organise their
convention from July 2 to 4, 2015 and around 600
delegates will be attending the convention in
Hyderabad. The SIHRA convention is a step to further enhance the
bonding amongst the South India Hospitality players and identify opportunities
for enhancing the trade in the region. South India offers strategic advantages
in hospitality sector with Hyderabad fast emerging as the best MICE destination
in the country. The convention is a fantastic opportunity for the
South Indian hoteliers to identify areas for knowledge sharing and trade
development and focus on growth and development.
