Graduation Day at Rajalakshmi Engineering College..!

Rajalakshmi Engineering College, Thandalam, part of the Rajalakshmi Group of Institutions hosted its 14^th Graduation Day in a grand and purposeful manner on 5^th April 2015 , 1182 students wearing the ceremonial regalia received their graduation certificates. The College secured 75 university ranks including two University Gold Medals.

Dr. Mrs. Thangam Meganathan, Chairperson, Rajalakshmi Group Presided over the function and delivered the Presidential address. Dr. C. Rangarajan, Former Governor, Reserve Bank of India gave the Graduation day address and told the students to dedicate themselves and focus their energies on developing as an all-round personality. Mr. Ravi Sam, MD, Adwaith Industries also motivated the students by saying that time management is the key to success and accumulating knowledge in different spheres will bring success and happiness.

The College, one of the best in South India, offers 10 UG programs, 10 PG programs in engineering, technology, management and computer applications. Currently, there are 5465 students studying in UG and PG programs.  Nine Departments of the college are recognized Research Centres of Anna University, for carrying out Doctoral Programmes. 721 students have been placed so far in software companies like TCS, L&T, Wipro, Sutherland and core companies like Ashok Leyland, JK Tyres & Johnson Control etc.

REC also held its college day on 2^nd April. Mr. Manikandan Raghavan, Vice President , Airtel and Mr. N. Muralidharan, GM, Corporate Human Resources, Ashok Leyland were the Guests of Honor. Certificates, trophies and various cash prizes were given to the outstanding students at this event.
