The apartment terrace will be
commonly used by all the Flat owners. so, any change made in terrace the
consent of all the Owners should be obtained.
If there is an
Association of all the Flat owners in the Apartments, a resolution can be moved
& passed in the general body meeting and the work can be done through the
Association.
This will ensure the
protection of the interest of all the owners. Flat owners may need open terrace
for drying clothes, drying some home made edible things like red spice etc. and for varied other reasons.
Moreover a license
from the Fire Service department is also required because the thatches is prone
to fire accident.
