STUDENTS AS CONSUMERS

CONCERT in association with TANSCOPE Government of Tamil Nadu had organised various contests (Elocution, Essay writing, Drawing and Special Drawing) among 8th, 9th and 11th standard students studying in High and Higher Secondary Schools of Chennai District.

All the contests held at 3 levels. The first level school level was held in 107 schools and 5100 students participated.

In the second zonal level, 238 students from 85 schools participated. The final Chennai city level contests held on 27th February, 2015, at Chennai Boys Higher Secondary School, 112, Kodambakkam Salai, Saidapet, Chennai
.

The titles for the contest are as follows:-
• Elocution Contest: Title A reported Consumer redressal case •
Drawing Contest: Title Prevention of air pollution
 • Essay Writing Contest: Title Safe Drinking water
• Special Drawing Contest: Title Clean India

 Best entries from drawing and special drawing contests displayed for observation of viewers. Seminar titled “STUDENTS AS CONSUMERS” also held on the same day from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm followed by the award and certificate distribution function.
