Light Art Academy announces call for entries for its 13th edition of monthly photography contest themed “Black & White” for the month of February 2015. Light Art Academy encourages entries from all photographers regardless of their experience from around the world to make online submissions.
The winning photographers of the contest will be awarded choice of camera accessories worth 20,000.Rs and will also be featured in Light Art Academy’s website and social media extensively.
The entries will be judged based on originality, technical excellence, composition, overall impact and artistic merit by Canon’s Photo Mentor Dharma Chandru. An award-winning, professional photographer, Chandru have been featured in National and international platforms for his impressive photographic work that has won him numerous accolades. Announcing the contest Mr. Dharma Chandru, Founder and Managing Director, Light Art Academy said “The 13th edition of the LAA photography contest is opened, thousands of people across the country participated in our monthly themed contest by submitting their works and voting. We have given away prizes worth Rs. 3,00,000 over the year.
Even more people are expected to take part in this edition, which will be dedicated to black and white photography.”
