L&T Mutual Fund launches “GoInvest” a unique Facebook
application for Investors
The Facebook app
will allow investors to view their L&T Mutual Fund portfolios with latest
valuation
Keen to engage with
their young and technology savvy consumer base, L&T Mutual Fund, a
subsidiary of L&T Finance Holdings Ltd., today became one of India’s
primary brands to launch a Facebook application for its investors.
The app, which is
named GoInvest, is designed to ease the exchange of information between
investors and the brand, while managing to sustain their interest and educate
them on the mutual funds industry.
Ashu Suyash, CEO – L&T Mutual Fund said, “India has
the largest base of Facebook users outside the US with over 112 million
accounts, making Facebook the go-to platform for us to connect with our
investors, and particularly with the younger investors. The app will allow them
to access all vital details of their investments, and at the same time they can
learn more about investing in mutual funds through it. Most interestingly, an
investor can do all of it while staying online on Facebook.”
With the GoInvest
app Facebook users will be able to watch L&T Mutual Fund’s investor
education videos, as well as, download free investor guides—available in
multiple languages.
Facebook users who
have invested in L&T Mutual Fund can additionally sign up for a free
account within the app and access their investments within Facebook.

we can contribute in enriching their knowledge and experience. Once logged in,
investors can view their L&T Mutual Fund portfolio including scheme-wise
holdings, the invested amount and the latest valuation. The ‘view transactions’
option facilitates users to view details of their previous transactions for any
period.”
GoInvest also
features a convenient option to request an account statement by email. This
move will allow investors to execute actions from the familiar comfort of their
Facebook accounts and this is what makes it unique and customer oriented.
