State Level Inter-School Science Exhibition by Rajalakshmi Institutions
Concept papers based prototypes invited
The Chennai based Rajalakshmi Group of Educational Institutions, who have pioneered higher education in the last 17 years, are once again organizing the popular inter-school Science Exhibition on 23rd and 24th January from 9 am to 3 pm. The venue is Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology. Students from classes IX, X, XI and XII are participating from all over Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry.
Students will present concept papers based prototypes in “Physics, Mathematics and Engineering”. There are attractive cash prizes in each category, Rs. 10,000 for the winner and Rs. 5,000 for the runners up. Also, a percentage towards cost will be provided by Rajalakshmi Group to execute the best model selected by the judges.
30 schools have already confirmed participation from Chennai, Madurai, Coimbatore, Trichy, Tirunelveli and Pondicherry. There is no registration fee. Those schools/students who are interested can participate/visit by registering onscienceexhibition@ritchennai.
According to Ms. Thangam Meganathan, Chairperson, Rajalakshmi Group, “there is a growing trend among school students, where they are thinking out of box and looking at ways and means to figure out what they want. At Rajalakshmi, we want students to learn conceptual engineering even while pursuing their academics, this will make them self-driven and will carve a better tomorrow".
