Navin Housing and Properties, a leading real estate developer in the city won the prestigious Developer of the year – Residential (South) award for the year 2014. Dr. Kumar, Managing Director, Navin Housing and Properties was presented the award instituted by Estate World Magazine at the7^th Annual Estate Show including the “Estate Summit & Awards 2014” hosted by Franchise India.

The award aims to recognize & reward the contributions made by real estate developers and other esteemed industry professionals who have played an essential role in the growth of the Indian Real Estate Sector.

In the presence of eminent leaders from the industry, an exclusive session on Smart Cities in India titled - “What is new, What is next for Real Estate Sector - Is The Smart Cities The Way Forward?” was organized by Franchise India.  As part of the session, Dr. Kumar presented a detailed perspective on how Urbanization is the key driving force behind the growth of the country and also spoke about what really constitutes a ‘Smart City’.
