World vision India and Coca-Cola revitalize 100 schools in South
Impacting 3,50,000 students by 2016
World Vision India and Coca-Cola as a part of the children’s day celebration launched the Support My School (SMS) programme in the 100th School in Tamil Nadu. Support My School (SMS) programme has revitalized 21 schools across 4 districts in Tamil Nadu in last 4 years with the funding of Rs. 20 crores.
Support My School is a WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) initiative that aims to improve basic amenities in government schools like separate toilets for boys and girls and access to water. 
The Campaign is also committed to developing the overall infrastructure like playground, and a clean environment to encourage a holistic learning environment.


The programme aims at scaling up their effort to touch 1000 schools and 3,50,000 students in next two years, and will be an important factor in Government’s effort for “Swaach Bharat, Swacch Vidyalaya.
Mr. Deepak Jolly, VP-PAC, Coca-Cola India and South West Asia, and Mr. Jayakumar Christian, National Director & CEO, World Vision India launched the program and interacted with the children.
