Qualcomm Donates Rs.2 Croresto the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund for Relief Activities in Jammu &Kashmir and Andhra Pradesh

Qualcomm Incorporated, through its subsidiary, Qualcomm India Private Limited (QIPL),today announced a contribution of Rupees2crores towardsthe Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund,to aidrelief and rehabilitation of people impacted in flood-ravaged Jammu &Kashmir and the recent cyclone-hit Andhra Pradesh.

“Qualcomm is deeply saddened by the loss of lives and devastation caused by the floods in Jammu & Kashmir and the recent cyclone in Andhra Pradesh. We extend our deepest sympathies and support to those affected,” said Dr. Avneesh Agrawal, President, Qualcomm India and South Asia. “In response to the Honorable Prime Minister’s appeal, we would like to support the government's effort with our contribution,toenable a quick recovery of the impactedareas.”
