Mr. C. Shekar Reddy, President, CREDAI - National, is a visionary who perceives a better infrastructural
environment for the country. He has been instrumental in raising the reputation and strengthening the stature of Builders fraternity in Andhra Pradesh.
With over two decades of experience in the industry Mr. Reddy constantly works towards sector reforms, environmental issues, social responsibility initiatives and customer issues to bring about a change and accomplish his vision of a better India.
An Engineer by qualification his journey began with A P Builders Association as General Secretary and
thereafter the setting up of Builders Forum in Andhra Pradesh, a first of its kind association that was
conceptualised to streamline the builder’s community in Hyderabad.
Mr. Reddy has actively represented the sector over the years with an undying zeal and has worked hard towards urban policy development and much more.
He holds several prominent offices and is a key decision maker and advisor for real estate development in
the state and the country.

And that’s not all Mr. Reddy has also proactively initiated the concept of Rainwater harvesting and Recycling & Reuse of Treated Water from STPs, He has been instrumental in developing award winning Eco-friendly
conservation project,.
He has been advocating the cause of affordable and quality housing for the weaker sections and has implemented the ‘Weaker Section Housing (EWS Housing)’ scheme in Hyderabad.
In line with his personal vision, as the Governing Board member, NAC he has played an major role in facilitating skill upgrading qualitative training programmes for building better industry workforce over the last 12 years.
He has brought about innovative reforms and has been instrumental in rationalisation of building byelaws. He has also been actively promoting and initiating the ‘Green channel’ concept in releasing building/ layout permissions which greatly expedited the process.
In his present role as President CREDAI, his foremost concern is to bring the unorganised builder community
under one umbrella and provide a common platform for education of the real estate professional, skill
development, representation to the Government on issues like affordable Housing, Online sanction of building
Permissions, work towards making RERA balanced for customers and developers, Implementation of Best
Practices across the country.
He plans to work on a 4 pronged agenda – Environment, Reforms, Skill development & Community
Straightforward, analytical and self critical, Mr Reddy believes in taking complete ownership of the issues .
With this attitude he has striven to represent the right issues at the right time to the right people and has been a key contributor to several decisions at the state and National level.
