Gangavaram port contributes Rs 1 crore to Andhra
Pradesh CM’s Relief Fund

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, Gangavaram Port Limited has contributed Rs 1 crore to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister's Relief Fund to facilitate rehabilitation and reconstruction activities in the districts affected by the Hudhud cyclone.

The cheque for the amount was handed over by Mr. DVS Raju, Chairman & Managing
Director, Gangavaram Port Limited to Shri N. Chandra Babu Naidu, Hon'ble Chief
Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

Mr. DVS Raju, Chairman & Managing Director, Gangavaram Port Limited expressed
that "It is really very unfortunate that Cyclone Hudhud has created so muchdevastation and the people in the affected districts had to spend the last few days without electricity and telecommunication network, shortage of food & drinking water due to the cyclone. This is a small effort by Gangavaram Port to express and
demonstrate our solidarity with the state government and help in reducing the suffering of the affected people”.
