-apart from adding specific functionality (like a music player), some can also

Dropbox

This handy little
add-on is understandable by its name.
Using it, you can
send files to your Dropbox via email. Sign up for the service, connect your
Dropbox account and you will get a unique email id.
Whenever you want to
send a file to your Dropbox storage, just email it to your unique email id and
it will be uploaded and stored in the `Attachments' folder of your Dropbox.
Keep in mind that you
can not share this `Attachment' folder with anyone else.
SupplyDrops..!
What do you do if you
want to share or get a file from a computer or user that does not have Dropbox?
You can login to your account on a browser and upload the file, but that requires
you to share your username password or stay logged into your account on the
browser till the transfer is finished.
SupplyDrops is a good
solution.
Head to http:www.supplydrops.com,
connect your Dropbox
account and then create a drop zone. You will get a unique link for each
dropzone -share the link with the person you want and he she can use it to
upload files to your Dropbox securely.
If required, you can
even set up a passwordprotected dropzone. You are only limited by the free
space available on your Dropbox to use the service.
Dropbox Automator..!
With Dropbox, you can
also automate easy or boring tasks such as file conversions or transfers. The
Dropbox Automator from Wappwolf lets you do all this and more. Head to

access your Dropbox account. Post that, you can connect other services to your
account (Flickr, Evernote, Facebook etc.) and then create an `action' -for
instance, convert to PDF.
Once you place a file
inside that folder (from your computer or mobile device), the Automator will
instantly convert it into a PDF and store it in the same folder. You can try
out numerous actions for many common tasks that will improve your productivity.

If you have enough
free space on your Dropbox storage, you can store your music on it and access
it all on the move. Visit http:www.droptun.es and sign in with your Dropbox
account to activate the service. Once done, you can access all your audio files
using a web browser app and play them without transferring them to any device.
iPhoneiPad users can
get the free DropTunes iOS app to stream the files directly to the device -it's
a great way to solve problem of limited storage on devices.

If you use Dropbox
with a team and work on the same document from different location, chances are
you have encountered the issue of conflicted document copies. While the
conflicted copies ensure that no data is lost, it also increases the workload
in managing multiple copies.
Using the free Conflicted Copy Pro software, you
can now see if a document is already open on another location and avoid making
another copy of the same file.
The software even
shows that a copy is being used on the Dropbox webapp. Note that you must have

the notes column to add your notes -they are automatically synchronised with
the video. You can click on any note to jump directly to the particular portion
in the video for reference. All the notes are directly stored on your Google
Drive and you can access or share them anytime.

The free version of
UberConference allows up to 10 callers to be on a conference call simultaneously
with HD quality audio. Using their collaborative tool for Google Drive you can
edit documents while doing an audio call -this makes it easier to collaborate
on a document. You can spot errors, add notes and make corrections in real
time.
UberConference also
allows you to record these calls and download them for reference.
HelloSign..!
HelloSign integrates
with your Google Drive storage and lets you digitally sign any document saved
on the Drive. The initial setup takes some time to get permissions, integrate
with your Google account and install the free Chrome extension.
Once done, you can
directly open any document or photo from Google Drive in your browser window,
insert your signature and then mail it directly. The free version restricts you
to three documents per month, but you can buy a $15 per month subscription for
unlimited documents. There are also free apps for iOS and Android available for
HelloSign.
Save to Google
Drive..!
This free extension
from Chrome lets you save any image or link from a webpage directly to your
Google Drive. It adds a button next to the Chrome address bar and also to the
context right click menu. When you right click on any image, an option to save
the link or the image directly to your Google Drive comes up.If you want to
save text from a webpage, another free extension -Save Text to Google Drive,
lets you save highlighted text along with relevant search tags directly to your
Google Drive.
