SARL rated as “A-/A2+”by Brickwork Ratings India Pvt. Ltd.(BWL)

Saraiwwalaa Agrr Refineries Limited (SARL) the leading manufacturers of edible oils in South India, has been rated as ‚A-/A2+‚by Brickwork Ratings India Pvt. Ltd. (BWR), a SEBI and RBI registered Indian Credit Rating agency. 

SARL has the distinctionof being one of the few companies in the edible oil segment who have been rated as ‚A-/A2+‚. The ‚A-/A2+rating by BWR signifies an adequate degree of credit worthiness. 

BWR has rated SARL based on its healthy internal processes, functioning and monetary performance in the face of significant challenges in the business environment. SARL which has an asset base of Rs 250 crore registered a consistent growth year by year in terms of turnover as well as profits. The annual turnover for the financial year ended 31st March, 2014 was Rs 2000 crore.

‚The rating upgrade by BWR gives SARL a more stable outlook and enhance our credibility. The
rating allows us a significant edge being one of the few edible oil companies to have been rated A-
/A2+ in the industry . The rating enables us facilitate our working capital requirements and
support capital expenditure planned in future to spur our growth.

In view of the expanding market SARL has recently refurbished the packing design for their
flagship brand ‚Naturralle and evolved a fresh identity for Saraiwwalaa Agrr Refineries Limited
‘SARL’ to give a new corporate look . The company has a strong marketing network through its
distributors and whole-sellers. SARL has also gained a significant presence in modern channel of
retail and have enhanced the brand presence in super markets etc.

About Saraiwwalaa Agrr Refineries Limited (SARL)

Saraiwwalaa Agrr Refineries Ltd., (SARL) was incorporated in the year 1999 by Late Sri Tulsiram
Gupta who had a rich experience in edible oil and food grains trade. Presently the company is
managed by Sri Kamal Kishore Gupta, Sri Pawan Kumar Gupta, Sri Ravinder kumar Gupta and
Sri Anjani Kumar Gupta, the successors of chief promoter late Sri Tulsi Ram Gupta. 

The company has professionally qualified and efficient management groups in marketing and finance segments.

SARL has two fully automated state of the art plants equipped with German Technology for
Refining Edible Oils; one in Krishnapatnam (near Nellore) and the other in Maheshwaram (R.R.
District) with a combined installed capacity of 316500 MTPA (Metric Ton Per annum). The Company in the year 2007-08, set up a rice processing unit ‚Shubham Paddy Processors to
expand its portfolio. The installed capacity of rice division is 60,000 MTPA. 

The company in the
edible oil segment manufactures and sells a variety of edible oils such as the palm refined oil,
sunflower refined oil, soyabean refined oil, rice bran refined oil, groundnut oil and vanaspathi and
bakery fats. All the products manufactured by the company are ‚Agmark graded under license
from Government of India and are sold under the established and popularly known brands viz.
Naturralle, Sree Krishna Drop and Ruchira. The rice products are mainly non basmati i.e. Sona
masuri rice and Idli rawa under the brand name of ‚Naturralle and Subham Gold. The company
has significant market share for its products sold in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana,
Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu in south India and also in Maharashtra and Chattisgarh in
other states of India. The company’s rice products, besides domestic market are exported to
countries such as Singapore and UAE.
