The central
government has decided to give pension payment order to an employee on the day
of his or / her retirement, Union
minister Mr. Jitendra Singh said.
The department of
pension and pensioner's welfare is working with the vision of ensuring a life
of dignity for pensioners, the minister of state for personnel, public
grievances and pensions said.
“The goal is to
ensure 100% payment of all retirement dues and the delivery of pension payment
order to retiring employees on the day of retirement itself,“ Mr. Jitendra
Singh said.
The department has
taken a number of steps including review of forms and simplification of
procedures.
