Shasun School of Liberal Education for Women in association with Behance - an Adobe company and Aditya Edu Ventures Pvt Ltd is organizing a portfolio review workshop for aspiring photographers, designers, students, creative professionals and talents from any walks of life on 17th May, 2014 between 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Shasun Jain College, T Nagar.
The previous edition held by the same organizers was an evidence for 70 plus talents across Chennai who have been giving testimonials till date about the turning points they have achieved in their artistic career because of the platform they got in Chennai through this event. This time it’s simultaneously happening at Coimbatore as well. The panelists who will review the portfolio include eminent personalities like Mr Amar Ramesh, India’s famous wedding photographer, Mr Harish Anand Thilakan,Managing Director, Influx Interactive and many more famous personalities.
Behance, a product of New York-based Company Behance, Inc., is an online portfolio platform for creative professionals across multiple industries, including photography, graphic design, illustration, and fashion. Coinciding with Shasun School of liberal Education, the objective of the event is to encourage upcoming talents by giving them an opportunity to interact with the experts and equally get exposed internationally. The Chennai workshop is a part of Behance’s 202 concurrent events happening around 70 countries with 5403 attendees across the globe.
The workshop will begin with a short and inspiring presentation by the Behance team. Later, the attendees will break into small groups to have their work reviewed by the panelists. The select review photos and videos will be sent to Behance site, where the participants work will be put up making it internationally visible. The best work in the review workshop will also be presented with specially minted appreciation coins and encouraging ‘like’ stickers. Shasun School of Liberal Education is the first college in Chennai to provide this opportunity for aspiring professionals by associating with Behance. Through this workshop, contestants will get worldwide recognition by the international forum Behance and will also get to network along with their fellow peers and industry leaders.
