Graduation Day at Shasun College for Women

Students secure 349 University Ranks.

Shri S.S.Shasun Jain College for Women conducted the 6th Graduation day on Friday 28th Chennai at the Kamarajar Arangam. Justice Dr.T.N. Vallinayagam (Judge- Lok Adalat- High Court of Madras) was the Chief Guest. A total of 868 students received their degrees.

The students brought laurels to the college by securing 349 University Ranks. The Chief Guest Justice Dr.T.N.Vallinayagam praised the performance of the students and encouraged them to do better. He counseled the graduates to be ready to face challenges which the current business environment is going through. He emphasized on the importance of continuous learning and been down to earth to be good citizens.

According to Dr.B.Poorna, Principal Shasun Jain College “Many of our students have already been placed in reputed companies and a few have planned to be entrepreneurs”. The ceremony ended with the distribution of the certificates which signified the culmination of year full of self development, fun and learning and it was a poignant moment also as the students bonded with each other one last time before the day ended.

Dr.B.Poorna, Principal & Shri Vimal Kumar Srisrimal, Secretary of the college were present at the ceremony.
