There are 8 single rooms with assisted care and 32 single and double (Standard and Deluxe) rooms. All rooms are fully furnished. Kshetropasna is a peaceful ashram in Sriperambudur (about an hours from Chennai, 5 minutes from Chennai – Bangalore Highway).
It is only about 45 minutes drive from major medical facilities like Sri Ramachandra, Miot & Vijaya Hospital and also Madras Medical Mission.
It was a desire by Prof.Prema Pandurang and Padmashree Dr P.R. Krishnakumar, the trustees of Kshetropasna, to construct a retirement home where senior citizens can enjoy a life of togetherness in the sunset years in a spiritual and religious atmosphere.
The Ananda Nilayam has 24/7 security, round the clock attendance by trained Care Givers and Nurse for patients in Assistant Care Ward in the Ground Floor, arrangements for broadband connectivity, facility to talk with near and dear ones through Skype. The other services include

This luxury and spiritually oriented retirement home was launched on 30th January 2014 by Padmasri Dr. Karthikeyan, (Advisor, Law-Human Responsibilities, Corporate Affairs in the presence of Sri Shivakumar (Cine Artist), Dr V.Chockalingam (Prof & Head of Dept of Cardiology, Madras Medical College), Col.A.Sridharan, VSM,MD,Covai Property Centre (India) Pvt Ltd and the renowned vocalist Dr.Nithyasree Mahadeven.
According to Prof.Prema Pandurang and Padmashree Dr P.R. Krishnakumar, Trustees, Kshetropasna, Sriperumbudur began its humble charitable work more than 2 decades back. By the grace of God, at present we have Sri Guruvayurappa Temple, Sri Rajeswari Temple, Sri Hanuman and Sri Ayyappan Temples, an Ayurvedic Hospital (running under the direct supervision of Arya Vaidya Pharmacy (CBE) ltd), Kshetra Vidyalaya – a CBSE School under the direct supervision and guidance of Dr (Mrs.) Y G Parthasarathy, a veda patasala, a Goshala (shelter for cows) and also a ‘senior citizens’ home for the middle class.
