Sobha Developers has
bagged ‘Builder of the Year’ award at the CNBC Awaaz Real Estate Awards 2013,
an event considered to be the most credible real estate awards.
This is the second
time in a row that the company is being bestowed with the top-most honour by
CNBC Awaaz. Last year, the company received the ‘CNBC Awaaz Most Reliable
Builder – National level’ award.
The award recognises
the exemplary work done by an organisation in the area of real estate
development. The award was presented to Mr. J. C. Sharma, Vice Chairman &
MD, Sobha Developers Ltd., by Dr. Girija Vyas, Hon. Minister for Housing and
Urban Poverty Alleviation.
Mr. J. C. Sharma, said, “We are truly honoured
to have received the ‘The Builder of the Year’ this year. It is a matter of
great pride that we were chosen on merit from a rating done on 4,892 Indian
developers / promoters. The ratings were done with a focus on performance and
commitment at a corporate level that included parameters such as financial cash
flows, construction timelines, price productivity, and delivery timeliness. We
have emerged as the best performer in these parameters especially among
developers with a supply magnitude of over 3 million square feet. Such
recognition amongst top competitors in our sector is not only highly
encouraging, but also deeply satisfying. It reiterates our belief that we are
treading the right course.”
Besides bagging the
top honour, Sobha Lifestyle, one of Sobha’s most prestigious flagship
projects was also chosen as the ‘Best 100 percent Complete Residential Project’
in the Ultra Luxury Segment - Bangalore.
“It is an honour that our product – Sobha Lifestyle stood out at an event where
more than 8,000 projects were showcased.
Sobha Lifestyle is
our flagship project which gives living a new, elevated definition with its
select presidential villas. It is a true embodiment of indulgence and an
epitome of quality. The massive 55 acre project houses just 165 spacious
super-luxury villas and the rest of the area is covered with above 12,000
trees.
Keeping in-line with
the environment-friendly theme, the project also contains the largest water
harvesting facility found in any gated community and an organic waste convertor
which converts organic waste into manure,” added Mr. Sharma.
