Time and again, real
estate as an asset class has proven to be the best investment avenue for
investors in India.
In terms of return on
investment, real estate has outperformed all other asset classes. To
corroborate this, Knight Frank India has calculated return on investment since
1992 on various asset types viz. currency (US Dollar), BSE Sensex (that is Stock
market), Gold, Silver and Property.
The current value of
Rs. 1 crore invested in each of these assets is currency (USD), BSE Sensex
(that is Stock market), Gold, Silver and Property Rs.1.8 crore, Rs. 4.6 crore,
Rs. 6 crore, Rs. 5.4 crore, and Rs.10.1
crore respectively.
