Sunita Sharma Takes Charge as MD, CEO of LIC HFL

Ms. Sunita Sharma has assumed charge as MD and CEO of LIC Housing Finance Ltd on 5th November 2013.  She is the first woman to be the MD & CEO of the Company since its inception in 1989.



Prior to this assignment, Ms. Sunita Sharma was Executive Director of Investments in LIC of India looking after the areas of equity research and risk management. Pension and Group schemes became most successful marketing channel and business grew manifold for LIC of India when she was spearheading the assignment as Executive Director (ED).
 
In a career spanning over three decades in the Corporation, she has handled various assignments such as Personnel, New Business, Policy Servicing, Finance and Accounts and Estates.  She had also served as Regional Manager of LIC HFL of Northern Region covering the states of Delhi NCR, Rajasthan, Chandigarh, Punjab & Himachal Pradesh.

Ms. Sharma prides herself a Team Player & believes in the power of human potential that is required to scale up any business.  Her intellect, energy & integrity are integral to her personality counted by her colleagues.
